On May 29th, 2009, Darin Corbin successfully defeated "Playboy" Pete Huge to become the first-ever ECHO Pro Champion. *THE ROAD DOGG DEBUTS WITH ECHO PRO!* Big Brody Hoofer vs. Former member of D-Generation X "The Road Dogg" Jesse James In May of 2009, Brody Hoofer confronted an injured AJ Styles. Hoofer said that he came to take AJ Styles out for good - to take his spot on TV. Styles, being unable to compete, told Hoofer that he could use his replacement as a stepping stone. Later in the evening, Styles announced his replacement, one half of the New Age Outlaws - Billy Gunn. Hoofer came up short in his match against Gunn and accounts this to AJ Styles' "ringside antics". On March 19th, Hoofer gets a shot at taking out the other half of the New Age Outlaws, "Road Dogg" Jesse James. Hoofer has threatened to break Road Dogg's neck... and... EAT HIS SOUL! *FIRST TIME EVER!* Former WCW Cruiserweight Champion Lenny Lane vs. "The Anarchist" Arik Cannon Lenny Lane, the seasoned veteran, is a former WCW Cruiserweight Champion. Making his return to ECHO Pro, Lenny Lane will take on "The Anarchist" Arik Cannon - a member of the short-lived MTV program Wrestling Society X. Lenny Lane suffered a loss to (now ECHO Pro Champion) Darin Corbin in his ECHO Pro debut a little over one year ago. Arik Cannon's last appearance with ECHO Pro featured a brutal display of athletic ability as he narrowly defeated Horace the Psychopath in a "Sartell Street Fight". Lenny Lane and Arik Cannon have never been in the same ring together - this is history in the making. *NO DISQUALIFICATION, ANYTHING GOES, HARDCORE RULES!* "Playboy" Pete Huge takes on "6% Body Fat" Rob James Huge feels he was cheated out of the ECHO Pro Championship last summer when Nikki Mayday became involved in his match against Darin Corbin. While it is quite possible that Darin Corbin will grant Huge his rematch on March 19th, he must first make it through this special hardcore contest against "6% Body Fat" Rob James. Rob James has assured that he will be victorious in this match against Pete Huge and has demanded that Darin Corbin choose him as his opponent in Corbin's first title defense. Also in action!
